May 2009 Business Update

A bit of housekeeping today…Ready Aim Organize has been keeping me busy with blogging, setting up the biz, organizing, networking, etc. Here are some quick updates:

1. Ready Aim Organize has an identity! The official logo is complete (thanks to Adam of PixelRunner Designs).

2. I’ve joined the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and I attend monthly meetings with the Baltimore Chapter of Professional Organizers. I’m learning a ton from this group and the monthly guest speakers. Most of the Organizers get their clients from word of mouth…so spread the word!

3. The Ready Aim Organize blog is growing. I’ve been regularly posting organizing tips, tricks to save money and suggestions for living green. Have you checked it out recently? If not, you should…a lot has changed. If you see something you like, post a comment. If you have an idea for a blog topic, send me an e-mail. I’d love to hear from you!

4. I’ve also taken a job with the examiner.com as the Organized Living Examiner for Baltimore. Each week I post a couple of articles related to organizing with a Baltimore twist. Even if you don’t live in the Baltimore area chances are you will find the topics and ideas applicable to you! Feel free to click on it everyday…and share it with your friends.

5. If you are following the trends in social networking and have joined facebook or twitter – look for Ready Aim Organize on both. Become a Ready Aim Organize fan on Facebook.com. And follow ReadyAimOrganiz on twitter.com (there is no ‘e’ because the name was too long on twitter).

Next up… the website needs some TLC and I’ll be doing some local advertising in the coming months. Stay tuned…
