Normally I love to share with you my wonderful product finds. I love to tell you how this great new product is saving me time and simplifying my life. And when I find something so wonderful naturally I want to share it, right?! Well, today I give a not so wonderful product review. I purchased the “One Trip Grip” several months ago, almost as a joke for my husband. My husband has this need to carry all the groceries in at once. I, on the other hand, prefer to make multiple trips in order to save my back and the eggs! So as a ‘joke’, but also hoping he’d use my new product discovery, I bought my helpful husband the “One Trip Grip”. Well, needless to say, my husband was unimpressed before he even knew what it was. It sat in the packaging for a couple months. Until one day, after squished loaves of bread, I decided it was time to put the “One Trip Grip” to the test! To make a long story short it failed.

One Trip Grip in action.
By now, I hope you are all using the reusable shopping bags. These bags come with very sturdy handles that essentially make the “One Trip Grip” obsolete. And if you try to use the “One Trip Grip” with reusable shopping bags, your bags are likely dragging on the ground; I can only image what it’d be like for people closer to the ground than me (I’m 5’10”). But I think overall, my biggest complaint is the simple fact that my arm muscles have not increased to carry additional bags, which is the primary selling point for the “One Trip Grip”. I can still only carry what I could carry before. So, unless you are Arnold Schwarzenegger, the “One Trip Grip” ultimately provides little value added to the routine of unloading your groceries.
If you have the “One Trip Grip” and have had a different experience – please let me know. Otherwise, save your money and invest in some of those handy reusable shopping bags.
