Fall in New England
October has turned out to be a busy month. I spent the last two weekends visiting each of my sisters. I got to help my one sister paint her dining room – it looks great! We also organized her front coat closet and her linen closet. And I got to spend lots of time with my nephews and niece while visiting my other sister. I stayed with my niece on Monday while the rest of the family was at work and school and I organized my sister’s plastic food containers. I wish I could have done more to help both of my sisters…but we still got to spend lots of time together and that’s what’s important. It’s fun to visit family and squeeze in organizing projects at the same time.
Traveling these past two weeks has put me behind on my own blog. And to top things off my website provider was doing updates and my blog may look a little different. Today’s plan is to get that corrected! It’s no surprise to you that there is always something to be done! And just when you feel caught up, you turn around and there’s something else to clean up, fix up or organize! Sound familiar?

Tea party with my niece!
According to a survey done by Day Runner, 65% of people feel their lives are “very” or “insanely” busy. Creating an organized life will help the insanely busy times in your life seem more manageable. Living organized directly impacts those around you making life simpler for everyone. Is there one area of your home that could use organizing – maybe it’s as simple as organizing your plastic food containers? Take the time to do it – you don’t have to organize the entire kitchen. Pick one drawer or shelf and spend 10 minutes sorting, purging and organizing. You’ll feel great and the difference will be noticeable. When you’re packing up dinner leftovers you’ll know right where the perfect size container is and its lid. Rather than spending 5 minutes searching for a match. Get organized now and watch the chaos subside.
