Blog Anniversary

logo_icon_webOne year ago on March 7th, yesterday, I started this blog. Wow, a lot has happened in one year! Ready Aim Organize has grown a lot in the past year and we’re making our mark online too! In addition to regularly publishing blog posts here, you can follow Ready Aim Organize on twitter (@readyaimorganiz) or become a fan on facebook. I also publish weekly articles about living organized in Baltimore at examiner.com. I’ve cast my nets in the world of social networking and I’m loving it! I also “interact” via twitter, blogs, and facebook with other organizers where we share great organizing tips. There is so much to learn and share online!

If you have blogs that you enjoy reading subscribe to the RSS feed on the blog’s page. This will allow you to be notified every time a new blog is posted. This saves you time from having to go to the website and read the post…rather it comes to your e-mail box! So simple. Also, take advantage of the Favorites (or Bookmarking) tool in Internet Explorer so you don’t have to waste time searching for a site you love. Once you find it, bookmark it so you can visit it again easily. Organize your bookmarks by frequency of visits or by topic. For example, I have several friends who have created blogs about their families and I have all of the bookmarks grouped together and periodically I’ll check each family’s blog to get the latest updates about my friends and their growing families. For more information on how to mark a website as a Favorite check out this step by step explanation at about.com.
