Visiting my good friend Lindsay last fall in Florida she has, what I think is a fabulous idea, hanging on the wall in her guest bedroom. She has a bulletin board where she hangs photos, ticket stubs, and other mementos from her guest’s visit.
This was my first time visiting Lindsay in her new condo on the beach…yes, on the beach. Growing up in Ohio it is still exciting for me to think that a friend of mine gets to open her sliding glass doors each day and see the ocean. Lindsay lives right on the beach so she naturally has a lot of visitors! When I walked into the guest room of her condo I was greeted with a few photos of her other friends who have visited and ticket stubs to concerts she attended while her guests were visiting. It was a “scrapbook” of sorts, hanging on a bulletin board. It is a great way to show appreciation for guests and to share her memories with other people.

Display photos, tickets and other memorabilia from your guests' trips on "memory board" in the Guest Room.
The board is a basic bulletin board that she covered in a piece of fabric to match the décor of the room. So simple! You could buy or make a ribbon board too. There are many ways where you could take this idea and make it your own. Regardless of how you do it it will make your guests feel welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks Lindsay for the idea and thanks for a great trip to Florida. I can’t wait to come again!

Nice!
I will most definitely take advantage of the bulletin board idea! I had planned to come up with something for that same problem but wasn’t sure how it would look and work. Thanks!!!
Great idea!!I I’m going to have to “steal” it and use it in my great room area since my guest room is currently being used by a tenant. Plus the great room/kitchen is where everyone hangs out! Love it!! Thanks for sharing Theresa and Lindsay!
