Clean Up Your Room Day

An ORGANIZED Bedroom.

An ORGANIZED Bedroom.

Today is Clean Up Your Room Day. Does anyone else find it ironic or humorous that the day after Mother’s Day is Clean Up Your Room Day?!

When mom says “go clean your room” – what does that mean to you? Chances are it means something different to each of us. So on this day after Mother’s Day and Clean Up Your Room Day I’d like to ask everyone to add their two-cents…how do you know when your room is clean? Post your comments below!

And finally, thanks mom, for teaching me how and always making me keep my room clean!

  2. I know my room is clean when I can go in and feel no compulsion to clean, straighten up, put laundry away or re-organize. I LOVE a clean bedroom. It is what a recommend to clients to do 1st! Everyone needs a sanctuary. It inspires me to get the other parts of my home in order. And yet, my room isn’t truly clean nearly enough! I think I need to clean my room now!

I know bedrooms are cleaned up when they are picked up. When I come up the steps and see order beyond the doorway I can relax and then if there’s time we’ll tackle chores like dusting and vaccuuming as a team, otherwise those jobs can wait. Don’t forget…”Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow for babies grow up we’ve learned to our sorrow…”
