Wordless Wednesday – Binder Clips to Organize Computer Cords

On Wednesdays, Ready Aim Organize likes to celebrate Wordless Wednesdays. Rather than a standard blog I like to share a photo. Simply put, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Today’s picture is for you if you have, what seems to be, endless cords hanging around your desk space. Corral the loose (camera, cell phone, video camera, external hard drive, etc) cords by using a simple binder clip attached to the edge of your desk. Let the cords hang freely and untangled. When you’re ready to use the cord it will slide easily through the binder clip wings so you can plug it in to your computer, camera, etc.

Binder clips come in many sizes so surely you can find one to fit the edge of your desk or table. Binder clips are sold at most mass market stores (WalMart, Target, etc) but for the largest variety in sizes and colors visit an office supply store (Office Depot, Office Max, etc) near you.

  1. I love this tip!!! It’s so simple, able to be moved, no tools required, and gets the job done. No more cords on the floor!
