How much does it cost?
Ready Aim Organize has the flexibility to price by the hour or by the project. Every client and every project is different.
How long will it take?
Each person, home, and project is different. Ready Aim Organize goes through a thorough consultation to evaluate the project, your needs and your lifestyle. Time required will depend on the task at hand.
What if I'm not willing to give up my things?
Ready Aim Organize understands that your possessions are important to you. I will work one-on-one with you to determine what stays, what is donated or what is thrown away (if anything). Often times it's a matter of rearranging what you already have and using your current space better in order to find space for your existing items. If you don't want to get rid of something - we won't. And nothing would be purged without your permission!
Do I have to buy containers, file folders, baskets, etc?
Most clients have already tried to get organized and have already invested in solutions. At Ready Aim Organize, the goal is to keep costs low. I will use any existing organizing products you have first. If additional products are needed I will always suggest a good, better, or best option that will provide you with a variety of price points. Budget constraints and potential product purchases can be discussed at the initial consultation.
What if I don't want my neighbors to know I've hired a professional organizer?
Ready Aim Organize is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers and I maintain a high standard of ethics in dealing with all clients. Your privacy and confidentiality is very important to me. I will not show up with car magnets identifying who we are in your driveway and we will not put a yard sign in your front yard. I understand that this can be an emotional and challenging time in your life. I respect you, your time and your privacy.
What spaces do you typically organize?
Generally individuals call Ready Aim Organize to have their homes organized. They are looking for a professional organizer who can transform the most hectic or neglected rooms in their home - kitchen, living room, master bedroom, closets, or basement. Ready Aim Organize also works with small businesses in an office or home office to make the space more productive.
How do I know if something should be donated or tossed?
Ready Aim Organize can guide you through the decision making process and even take it a step further. I can coordinate the donation and/or trash removal for you. As a professional organizer my goal is to simplify your life!
How do I know if I need a professional organizer?

Top 10 signs it's time to hire a professional organizer
What can a professional organizer do for you?
Why is it important to be organized?
What if I do not live near you?
You have two options:
For most clients Ready Aim Organize does not charge for travel time. For extended travel in the Baltimore/D.C. area there is a small fee. Please call for more details or to find out how to get this fee waived.
If you live outside the Baltimore/D.C. area I am available for phone consultations. This is a relatively new service in the Professional Organizing Industry. E-mail me to get more information. It's a simple process where all coaching is done vie e-mail and phone. This is a very cost effective way to hire a virtual professional organizer!

Keep a small waste basket by the front door. Don't let junk mail or unwanted mail make it 3 steps past the front door. This is also the ideal place for a shredder. Protect your identity and eliminate clutter right when you enter the house. Invest a few dollars in a stylish and functional letter opener. Mail looks manageable and takes up less space when envelopes are neatly slit.
Closet
Designate a space in the closet for empty hangers. If you remove a piece of clothing from the hanger, put the hanger in the “empty hanger” space. When your dirty laundry is clean you have all your hangers in one place to re-hang your clothes quickly and neatly.
Meals
Plan your meals for a week or two week period ahead of time. Post the meal plan where every member of the household can see it - on a sheet of paper on the refrigerator or a white board hanging in the kitchen. Planning meals saves time and money. This also eliminates the question, “What's for dinner?”
Kitchen
Store your plates, cups and silverware in cabinets and drawers near the dishwasher and sink to ease the washing and dishwasher unloading process. Keep your pantry well stocked but know what you have. When you unload your groceries, be sure to put the new items in the back and bring the older items to the front so you use items first before they expire.
Time Management
Schedule a 10 minute meeting with yourself at the end of each day. Use this time to tie up lose ends to ensure tomorrow runs smoothly. What is on your “to do” list for tomorrow? Is it prioritized?
Organization on a Budget
Needing drawer dividers or organizers in the bathroom for hair barrettes, make-up, etc? Use old plastic kitchen containers that you've lost the lid for to organize and store the jumbled items. A great way to recycle and save money! Not only does this work in the bathroom, but in the desk drawer as well. You can use them for paperclips, rubber bands, pencils and the like.
